A Fun Destination for Kids And For Mommies

Being a mother to two 4-year-old kids is not an easy task. Especially when it comes to planning outings and festive outings with kids. There are very few places that are a treat for people all ages. Places that are great for kids, full of fun and games and food are not something that might appeal to parents. And on the other hand, places, where parents enjoy, might not be a great place for kids!

But thankfully I found a place that’s a perfect blend of places for kids as well as grown-ups – DLF Mall of India, Noida. With over 300 brands present under one roof, DLF Mall of India is India’s largest shopping mall with retail space of over 2 million square foot. DLF mall has never seized to surprise me whenever festivals are around. For every occasion, there is some or the other fun things for kids to enjoy & have fun. With the year coming to an end, DLF mall has is all set to host its ultimate Fiesta – Funtastic Festival that started on 14th November and will go on till 31st December 2018. What a way to step into 2019, isn’t it!!

Last weekend, i.e. on 16th December I got a chance to visit the festival with my daughters. They had a gala time there with the innovative events at their Hamley’s outlet.

Last year I remember I got my daughters to tell me what their wish list for Christmas was and wrote a letter to Santa on their behalf. This year too we did the same but in a very different way.

We, at Hamley’s Christmas Planet, had a lot of fun. Both my kids got their pictures clicked with Santa in his sledge. Then they wrote their Christmas wishes in an e-letter to Santa and sent the letter to Santa along with their pictures in jet speed using a sling. This whole experience was so thrilling for them as it was so different from writing the usual letters.

In case you missed out on the experience on 15 – 16 4-year-old December weekend, don’t be disheartened. As Hamley’s will be having Santa and Santa’s secret planet at their store on 22 nd & 23 rd December as well. Kids can dance with Santa, get their pictures clicked with Santa and write letters to him. Not just this, DLF Mall of India has also organized carolers on 23rd December who would be singing Christmas carols. Be there and have fun!

My kids had so much fun that I might visit the mall again over next weekend. Hoping to see you all there too!

Merry Christmas! Happy Fiesta!

There are a lot of places having Christmas as well as New Year’s Carnivals, but this unique concept of sending an e letter to Santa with our child’s picture using a sling – That’s what made my experience here at DLF mall more enjoyable!
